"Hiii, I'm Twink! I'm Sylva's -- ... trans-lay-tor! That's it, right?
Um, yeah, she can't speak, so if she can't use her markers or needs to respond to things quickly, I read her thoughts and talk for her! She's a great friend and an AMAZING doc!
So if you need anything, ask her! Or even ask me, if you like, hee~!"

The raichu sat there dumbfounded and thought. “C-could it be true.. d-did she… did Sylva kill her?”
She began to get angry.
"Of course she did!!! It all makes sense!! She was jealous of me because I would have my baby.. but she still wouldn’t have Twink… so she passed off her poison as a pain reliever.. S-she.. KILLED MY BABY!!!"
She turned and faced Sylva, tears in the corners of her eyes.
She screamed at the mienshao.
She shook her head till the tears were gone.
Show no weakness.
She then ran and jumped in the air in front of Sylva bearing her tail.
"I’LL DESTROY YOU!!!"
Sylva was taken off-guard by the sudden attack. She dodged to the side swiftly, then raised her hands peaceably to the enraged Raichu.
She waved her hands about and shook her head, trying to tell Firefly that it wasn’t her fault. It was something she never wanted to happen, something she’d never dare wish upon any expecting parent.
And then… there was impact.
Sylva laid on the grass, stunned by the heavy crushing blow to the side of her face. She weakly staggered up while holding her swollen cheek…
Merciful Arceus, the agony… it was unreal… every second of pain burned through her face in almost venomous pulses. It was as if she was shot.
But before she could take time to recover from the strike, she felt the presence of the devastated, wrathful Raichu glaring at her.
Sylva gulped, waving with her other hand at Firefly. She even made gestures at herself while shaking her head, as if trying to tell the electric mouse that it wasn’t her doing. Unfortunately for her, it doesn’t look like Firefly is in the mood to negotiate…
The raichu cupped her paws excitedly waiting to see her new baby. It was awfully quiet however..
She wondered where the cries were.
She looked up at Sylva and saw a shocking face.
Firefly’s heart dropped as she looked at Sylva.
"w-what’s wrong with the baby????" She called out.
The raichu ran and grabbed the tiny pichu out of her arms and instantly knew something was wrong. “I-it’s just asleep right..?… RIGHT???”
Firefly shook and screamed at the baby.. hoping that maybe..
It really was asleep.
After what seemed like hours of Firefly shaking her beloved baby.. She realized it was gone. Her baby.. was dead.
She gently took the blanket that was used to give birth, and wrapped it around the pichu. She laid it down in the grass and sobbed.
She slowly walked over and picked a small purple flower and placed it on her baby.. It was after all a girl.
She softly whispered goodbye to her little girl..
Her name would have been Star.
The tears flowed from her face as she said “Bye Star.. I love you.”
Sylva just stared at the heartbroken, mortified Raichu, her own heart heavy with sympathetic pain. After several seconds passed, the Mienshao edged closer to Firefly and tapped her head lightly, redirecting her attention to her whiteboard.
Sylva flips it over,
["… I… I feared that this might happen, after detecting an irregular pulse… I was hoping that this child would be born alive and healthy, and to see you happy… and yet…
… goodness I’m sorry… do you… wish for me to leave you alone, dear…?”]
(( It’s this fact alone that is putting a damper on my muse to run this blog. Don’t worry, I’m not upset, and I’m not looking to abandon this blog, oh hell naw! I’m just eager to get it moving and get to some -real- drama, but… I can’t even bring myself to work on some other filler posts I had in mind. D;
I guess what I’ll do is ask the remaining people that got the spots asking if they’re still interested, and if they can get their parts done before Christmas. If so, then cool!
BUT IF NOT — then I can probably negotiate to drop their spots and have said ingredients be available for others to get instead. It’s no biggie, really. Easy.
… Well, it’s either that, or… well… yeah. ))
The raichu instantly felt relief from her pain and her crying slowed down.
She then stood up right, looked at Sylva full of excitement, and clenched her fist. Now that the pain was gone Firefly could think more clearly.
Firefly laid on the grass and covered herself with a blanket. She had a worried expression though it was covered by her words.
She was finally ready to meet her new baby…
At that moment, Sylva was quick to go to work.
After several exhausting minutes…
That task was complete, as new life was brought into the world, gently cradled by the mute Mienshao herself.
Sylva couldn’t help but marvel at the little Pichu, its calm, quiet, peaceful state, curled up weakly in her arms, waiting for it to squirm…
… why isn’t it moving?
Sylva’s heart was beginning to pump with tension over its unsually still state. Concerned, the Mienshao placed two fingers over the baby’s neck …
"Fear is the glue that holds society together.
It’s what makes people suppress their worst impulses.
Fear is power.”
(( I dunno why, but I felt like dressing these two up as Batman villains, largely as a response to this.
Verdugo’s makes plenty of sense, but Sylva? I dunno, ‘cause… she’s green, and… uses medicines and plants…? Plus it’s interesting, if OOC, to look this way. :P
Happy Halloween, buddies. ))
The raichu weakly gets up and hugs the mienshao crying heavily.
"It hurts.. So much.." She gasps for air. "Do you have anything for pain? I feel like I’m dying…" She coughs violently and continues to sob into Sylva’s fur.
The green Mienshao takes out the container and pops off the lid, revealing a minty paste made of a combination of herbs set for pain relief.
Quickly whipping out a wooden spoon, she scoops up a generous fill of the paste and feeds it to Firefly, as consumable natural medicines are all she has. She holds Firefly steady to make sure takes the whole gulp; thankfully for her, it works quickly, and tastes relatively nice.
After Firefly has taken the sips, Sylva looks at her in an anticipating fashion, as if silently asking her if it’s becoming more bearable now.
